      Shawnee Mission West basketball player Heather Howard has verbally committed to Oklahoma State. Howard, who averaged 13 points, seven rebounds and two blocks a game as a junior post player last season, received the scholarship offer after performing well at a basketball camp at Oklahoma State with her Shawnee Mission West teammates in mid-June.
