Kansas City Jazz Vespers will feature the Roger Wilder Quartet from 6 to 8 p.m. on Sunday at the First Baptist Church of Kansas City, 100 W. Red Bridge Road at Wornall Road.
Wilder is host of a jazz radio show, “The Jazz Geek,” on KKFI, running for 10 years. He released a CD, “Stretch,” in 2013. He’s also an adjunct instructor at UMKC. Performing with Wilder will be David Chael on saxophone, Seth Lee on bass and Sam Wisman on drums.
