I am getting conflicting reports as to what to do if one has this fungal disease. A long and thurough article appeared in the K.C. Star. Among informative information, it said that we would have to dig up and get rid of those affected roses. I was sick about it, but had already began to notice the signs and had begun to cut out infected branches of my 3 rose bushes in the same planting area. I live in a small gated community and relayed the info. to the manager. He contacted our landscaper and was told to wait until fall before digging them up. I was shocked. That will give time for all our roses to get infected and all 28 condos has plantings of roses, besides a big display at the entryway.
Can you clarify what should be done? - Donna -
