These are my 4 thornless blackberry plants. I have picked about 5 pints this year. The late winter harsh weather froze back the plants. I should have been picking many quarts this year! Of course, I have to share them with the birds. Last year I put a net over the entire patch. What a mess. No more. I meant to put out disposable aluminum pie pans on string to scare the birds but never got around to it. Next year I will. -- Donna Bagby
