In December, we broke the news that Boulevard Brewing Co. was planning a new annual street festival in the West Bottoms. Now it’s time for Boulevardia.

The festival begins today at 5 p.m. near the 12th Street bridge in the West Bottoms and features beer tappings, live music, art, an eco-expo, food trucks and a family-friendly carnival complete with a Ferris wheel. Boulevardia runs through Sunday.

General admission tickets cost $15 each. Boulevard recommends buying them in advance at boulevardia.com. The brewing company expects 30,000-40,000 people to attend the festival over three days.

For more information on the festival — including info on participating breweries, cycling, bands, food trucks, small-batch spirits tastings and the free Boulevardia app — read this week’s Ink cover story.
