Church’s Chicken’s signature honey butter biscuit is getting a makeover this holiday season, and the result is even sweeter.
The fast food chain will introduce Oreo Biscuit Bites this winter, consisting of its original biscuit with crumbled Oreos and covered in vanilla icing.
The bites will be available Dec. 1 through Dec. 28, according to Church’s. It is the first time the chain has experimented with its biscuit recipe since it was created 52 years ago.
"We tested a number of cookie flavors but Oreos easily won out," Mark Snyder, global chief marketing officer for Church’s, told USA Today. "There may be an opportunity to push this further,"

Oreo Biscuit Bites will be sold in a pack of five for 99 cents or a pack of 20 for $2.99.
“The biscuit is so popular, we thought we could extend its equity,” Snyder said.
