Starting this weekend, Julep Cocktail Club will serve brunch from noon to 4 p.m. on Saturdays and Sundays.
The bourbon bar at 4141 Pennsylvania Ave. in Westport has a new weekend menu designed by James Beard Award-winning chef Debbie Gold and executed by chef Tyler Gallagher. Gold’s menu uses sausage and other pork specialties from Broadway Butcher Shop. Smoky Andouille sausage is on the sausage scramble sandwich ($10) along with scrambled eggs and Cheddar cheese. It’s also served with the crispy egg and cheesy grits dish ($11).
The sweet side of the menu features a yogurt parfait ($5) and praline pecan French toast ($9) made with rich challah bread and topped with bourbon-spiked cream.
Because this brunch is served in a bar, there are plenty of cocktails to choose from: Mimosas, bellinis, Bloody Marys, Irish coffee and even a Boulevard beer shandy (all $9).
