Well, that was fast: Tickets to Boulevard’s June 14 Taps Tastes event sold out 17 minutes after they went on sale at 10 a.m. this morning.

Taps Tastes is the limited-attendance beer festival portion of

Boulevardia, a new annual street festival organized by Boulevard Brewing Company. Those who snagged a $75 ticket will get beer samples from 35 breweries

and food from 12 local restaurants.

General admission tickets — which cost $10 each or $25 for a three-day pass — are still available and not expected to sell out.

In a Facebook message posted shortly after Taps Tastes tickets sold out, Boulevard announced that “additional special tappings from other regional and national craft breweries” will be available to general admission ticketholders.

According to Boulevard, “you’ll be able to purchase these special tappings by the pour.” A list of participating breweries and a schedule of tappings will be announced next month.
