All hail the Z-Man sandwich: Oklahoma Joe’s Bar-B-Que‘s original location in a Kansas City, Kan. gas station is No. 3 on Yelp’s list of top 100 places to eat in the U.S

The barbecue joint, which also has locations in Leawood and Olathe, is the only Kansas City-area restaurant on the list, which was determined by online reviews.

Almost half of the restaurants on Yelp’s list are based in California. Three are in St. Louis: Bogart’s Smokehouse (No. 19), Blues City Deli (No. 29) and Pappy’s Smokehouse (No. 98).

According to

Yelp’s blog

, Oklahoma Joe’s and the other 99 restaurants are “the ultimate, try-before-you-die, food-coma-inducing, so-good-it-makes-you-want-to-slap-your-momma places.”

Apparently “Bachelor” star Juan Pablo Galavis agrees —

he ate there with girlfriend and Kearney native Nikki Ferrell

on the show this week.

“Ah man,” he said on the show, “I’d get fat eating that barbecue every day.”
