The owners of the Grand Street Cafe, just east of the Country Club Plaza, have expanded with a new location in Lenexa.
The new Grand Street Cafe is now open in Lenexa City Center East, 8815 Renner Blvd. It has the same menu as the original Grand Street Cafe, which was founded just over two decades ago, but a new decor. Items include Thai chicken wrap, prime rib tacos, brined roasted pork chop, pistachio encrusted ruby red trout, and grilled filet mignon.
“It is an up and coming area and we are ready to make some people happy,” said Craig Hartwell, general manager. “I think the city of Lenexa is missing a nice restaurant like this.”
The 7,753-square-foot Lenexa Grand Street has 36 tables in the dining room, a boardroom seating up to 14, a private dining room seating up to 22, and banquet room for up to 90 people.
Rick and Kristi Ghilardi and Greg Hirleman are the owners of the two restaurants.
