If you thought a plain old hot dog would satisfy a World Series appetite at Kauffman Stadium, think again.
The home of the Royals has rolled out a new “harvest market” menu for the World Series games, including plenty of comfort food to match the season.
The new items can be found at the Harvest Market stand in Section 203. They include:
Smoked Crown Chili
Never miss a local story.
Classic chili gets an upgrade with burnt ends, smoked white beans, some Boulevard IPA, ancho chili and cinnamon topped with smoked gouda and sour cream. $5.50
Get your Thanksgiving fix with this sandwich, which features house roasted turkey breast, stuffing and cranberry sauce topped with gravy on a roll. $11
Butternut Squash Bisque
Nothing says fall like a hearty soup, and this one comes with an added bonus: a spiced bacon pretzel stick. The bisque also includes toasted pumpkin seed and sour cream. $5.50
For something sweet, try the caramel apples with toasted peanuts, mulled apple cider or hot chocolate, both served in a World Series souvenir mug.
