I approached this year’s Missouri State Wine Competition with trepidation, but not because I thought the wines wouldn’t be good. The time is long past when the Missouri wine industry should have to convince anyone that it is creating acceptable wines. Those who continue to avoid Missouri’s best wines probably believe that the Earth is flat and that global warming isn’t happening.
