Encouraging signs at Kansas State School for the Deaf

Students at the Kansas School for the Deaf in Olathe strive to be fluent in two languages — with English being the second one. American Sign Language is their first language. Almost everyone who works on campus, from janitors to teachers to dorm monitors, use ASL.
