Three hurt in shootings in Kansas City

Three people were shot, likely all of them near 67th Street and Wabash Avenue in Kansas City Sunday night. None of the injuries appeared life-threatening.

Kansas City Police were investigating a shooting in which three people were injured Sunday evening.

Police found two people shot at the intersection of 67th Street and Wabash Avenue. A third person, who police said may have been shot in the same incident, was found near 57th Street and the Paseo.

The shootings occurred about 7 p.m. Chief Darryl Forte tweeted that none of the people shot had suffered life-threatening injuries.

No details about what led to the shootings were available Sunday night. Police said no arrest had been made.
