This weekend, Kansas City new home builder Summit Custom Homes will begin celebrating their month-long Junerosity campaign with family-friendly events hosted throughout their Summit Exclusive Communities. Junerosity, first debuted by Summit in June of 2015, is 30 days of giving and community family fun aimed at raising funds to support six non-profit organizations.
All month long, Summit will make a $25 donation for every party who visits a participating Summit Exclusive Community and tours a model home. Visitors select to whom the donation will be made from a list of six local and national charities. For every home sold in one of the Summit Exclusive Communities in June, Summit will donate $250 to the homebuyer’s selected organization.
Today from 1 p.m. to 3 p.m., Summit will have a bounce house, cotton candy stand and games and hands-on activities for kids in the Parkwood at Stoney Creek community at 1613 SW Whistle Drive in Lee’s Summit.
Parkwood at Stoney Creek is currently featuring a model of the popular Preston Ridge IV floor plan. Visitors will also be able to see the newest phase of Stoney Creek, currently under construction next to the Parkwood community. Several new homes are already under construction as well and are expected to be move-in ready by the fall.
The Reserve at Stoney Creek offers a premium selection of hard-to-find treed lots available now. For the month of June, Summit is offering 5 percent off the lot price for new build job contracts in the Reserve at Stoney Creek.
Two additional neighborhoods within the master-planned Stoney Creek community will also have models open for Junerosity tours. The Manor at Stoney Creek, located off County Line Road on the southern edge of Stoney Creek, will have a model of the Estes Park plan from the Lifestyle Collection. The low-maintenance Villas of Parkwood, located north off Parkwood on the west side of Stoney Creek Drive, has models of the ranch-style Palermo and Catania plans, both showcasing finished lower levels.
The Stoney Creek community boasts an unparalleled assortment of community amenities, with two pools, two playgrounds, a sand volleyball court and direct access via walking trail to the adjacent Osage Trails Park.
Through the Junerosity campaign, Summit supports organizations that are making a remarkable difference in communities throughout Kansas City and the United States: Drumm Farm Center for Children, Harvesters Community Food Network, Hope Haven of Cass County, The Boys and Girls Club of Greater Kansas City, Lee’s Summit Educational Foundation and St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital.
Summit will host a variety of family-friendly community events all month long featuring games, contests, and hands-on activities for kids. Events will include bounce houses, lawn games, tasty treats and appearances from local radio personalities.
Next Saturday, June 11, radio DJs from KC 102.1 will join Summit for a live broadcast from the Eagle Glen community in Raymore. Kona Ice will be on site giving out free treats and a variety of kids activities will be open, including a bounce house and lawn games. A full list of events and activities for Junerosity can be found on Summit’s website.
Two brand new models from the Lifestyle Collection will be open to tour at Eagle Glen, Summit’s newest community in Raymore. The ranch-style Carbondale model showcases a finished lower level and has four bedrooms, two baths and a three-car garage. The two-story Palmer model next door has four bedrooms, 2.5 bathrooms and a three-car garage as well.
Drawings will also be held in each participating community for a variety of great prizes, including Kansas City Royals and Chiefs tickets and passes to family destinations like Worlds of Fun, Schlitterbahn and the Kansas City Zoo.
In total, seven Summit Exclusive Communities located throughout the southeastern KC metro area will participate in Junerosity showcasing a variety of Summit’s award-winning floor plans and community amenities. The homes will be open for tours Wednesdays – Saturdays and Mondays from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. and also on Sundays from 12 to 5 p.m.
