Cedar Creek residents enjoy a daily vacation, no luggage required

Summer is undoubtedly a popular time for travel. Yet at Cedar Creek, resort-style amenities and a picturesque location create a lifestyle-oriented retreat that feels like a daily vacation for Cedar Creek homeowners.

The master-planned community is strategically located in the heart of the growing Kansas 10 corridor, a paradoxical location that offers convenient access to Johnson County and the surrounding Kansas City metro while enveloping residents in lush, secluded surroundings.

In addition to enviable amenities, Cedar Creek offers homes in several neighborhoods, each of which includes distinctive architectural styles and price points. Whether prospective homeowners are in the market to accommodate a specific move-in timeline with a speculative home or prefer to work with a member of the building team to create a custom residence, they’ll find their dream home within Cedar Creek.

Six model homes are under construction in Cedar Creek’s newest neighborhood, The Crossings at Southglen, and are scheduled to be complete in just over a month. Additionally, the second phase of home sites is now open for reservations, making this a prime time for prospective homeowners to secure their spot in this rapidly filling neighborhood. Prices range from $68,000 to $87,500 for daylight, walkout and flat home sites.

Numerous speculative homes are in progress throughout Cedar Creek, providing purchase opportunities in several of the community’s neighborhoods.

The amenities package includes swimming pools, tennis courts, a lake, a golf course, a fully equipped community center and more, all of which help homeowners feel like they’re on a permanent vacation.

In addition, Cedar Creek hosts a variety of annual and ongoing events, including a community-wide garage sale and holiday-specific festivities. Other events include a ladies lunch bunch, walking group, yoga and a men’s lunch group, contributing to a heightened sense of community and companionship within Cedar Creek.

The community is tucked away in more than 3,000 acres of rolling terrain, yet the prime Olathe location puts homeowners in the heart of Johnson County and near easy highway access to travel throughout the Kansas City area and to Lawrence.
