Offering homes from the mid-$200,000s, Fountain Hills is a community for people who enjoy life and place a high value on comfort, convenience and an active lifestyle. It’s for parents who want the best for their children, but it meets the needs and desires of homebuyers of all ages.

Whether you’re raising a family, looking forward to visits from the grandkids or just want a great place to call home, Fountain Hills is the perfect choice, according to the marketing team.

Ideally located off of Missouri 152 and North Platte Purchase Drive in Kansas City, North, Fountain Hills offers easy access to major highways, including Interstate 29, Interstate 435 and U.S. 169. Residents can take their children to school, shop for groceries, catch a movie, visit the local library and enjoy a wide variety of restaurants and shops, all within a short distance.

Children living in Fountain Hills attend the highly rated Platte County R-III School District, including Pathfinder Elementary and Barry Middle schools, which are within walking distance to the community.

Despite so many nearby conveniences, residents may find it hard to leave the neighborhood. Fountain Hills offers an amenity package that includes a swimming pool with a well-furnished cabana, a playground, walking trails and a lake with a central fountain.

Fountain Hills is not a typical cookie-cutter neighborhood where all the homes look exactly the same. Ranch style homes are next to two-story homes, right next to split-level homes.

“Homes in Fountain Hills are built by some of the finest builders in Kansas City,” said Andrea Boeh-Sheridan, who, along with Karen Stump, markets Fountain Hills for Reece Nichols Realtors. “All five builders in this community take great pride in their craftsmanship and it definitely shows. From the uniqueness of the floor plans to the quality of finishes, Fountain Hills sets the platinum standard for new construction in Kansas City.”

Country Hills Customs Homes has a remarkable 11/2-story plan, The Martinique

nearing completion that “will knock your socks off,” Boeh-Sheridan said. The great room features lofty ceilings, built-ins around the fireplace and a huge wall of windows. The kitchen offers all the work space and cabinetry any chef would need. The home features a guest bedroom on the main level and two large bedrooms upstairs. Located on a walkout cul-de-sac lot, the lower level could be finished for additional living space.

The Antigua reverse 11/2-story has an office/guest suite off the front of the home, a spacious master bedroom overlooking trees and a spa-like master bath. The walkout lower level is finished with two extra bedrooms, a recreation room with built in entertainment console and a full bath.

Country Hills also has a unique California split-level home starting in the spring.

Integrity Homebuilders is back at Fountain Hills and will be beginning construction of two two-story homes this spring. The Perry is one of its most popular floor plans with four bedrooms and a main floor that is perfect for entertaining. The Belmont has four large bedrooms and a walk-in closet/laundry room combo any mom would thoroughly enjoy. The large windows in the living room let the natural light shine. Both homes will be built on the last few remaining walkout lots in phase 8.

Joseph Lane Homes has three plans ready now. The St. Maarten split-entry is a three-bedroom home with an extra office/bonus room in the finished basement. This plan offers a formal dining room plus a breakfast room. The Keystone III ranch home houses the information center for the community. It offers convenient, one-level living with maximum style. The Barbados offers upscale living with the living room opening to an elegant kitchen with an island that could seat five people. The home also features an additional guest suite on the main level with two bedrooms downstairs that have large walk-in closets.

New Mark Homes has several plans at Fountain Hills. The Keystone is

a side-to-side split-level. This home has all the bedrooms and laundry on the same level, an open kitchen/living room, finished recreation room and a subbasement for extra storage or another bedroom. New Mark Homes’ ranch and reverse 11/2-story home, The Hampton VI and The Sierra II,

are stunning in detail and design. The two-story Landen will be completed in early fall. The master suite features a sitting room, separate tub and shower and an enormous walk-in closet.

Vasut Construction has a ranch home, The Gleason, that has a spacious master suite, large kitchen with granite counter tops and a huge pantry. There is plenty of space to finish the basement if you need more room to roam. Vasut Construction’s reverse 11/2-story home, The Stanton II

sold quickly and offered a large, open kitchen, dining room and living room; and a see-through fireplace to the covered deck. The lower level includes a large recreation room and two extra bedrooms.

Construction on The Oakley two-story home is scheduled to start soon. It will offer four bedrooms with laundry room and an additional office or hobby room on the bedroom level. The main-level has a formal dining room as well as a breakfast room, and a huge walk in pantry.
