Market-leading home builder Summit Custom Homes is offering a special sneak peek of its entries in the 2014 Spring Parade of Homes today.
The company announced April 11 that it would be opening up all of its Parade of Homes entries Friday and today, the weekend before the Parade starts, for a special open-to-the-public sneak peek.
“We have 22 homes on the Parade of Homes this spring and we thought it would be fun to open them to the public a week early so they can visit the homes and beat the crowds of opening day,” said Kevin Stucker, vice president of Summit Custom Homes.
New-home buyers can preview a list of the 22 new homes featured on the sneak peek tour by visiting the company’s website atSummitCustomHomesKC.com
“There’s something for everyone, including two-story, 11/2-story, and ranch homes, located throughout the metro area, including homes in Lee’s Summit, Raymore, Lake Lotawana, Kansas City, Lenexa, Shawnee, Olathe and Platte City,” Stucker said. “And, if you like what you see, we can build it for your most anywhere in the Kansas City area.”
“Some of our Parade entries are for sale, and three of those have already sold,” said Megan Fratzke, marketing manager for Summit Custom Homes. “The market is really hot right now. People are excited about the warmer weather and are taking it as an opportunity to get out and finally pick out the new home they have been thinking about all winter long. This sneak peek weekend is exciting because it gives the public a little extra time to see our homes and pick one out before the heavy Parade traffic brings a buyer out who will beat them to it. It’s a great opportunity to get your dream home before it’s gone.”
Summit is known for building energy-efficient homes with exceptional standard features and for its relentless dedication to customer satisfaction. Its entries in this year’s Parade of Homes are no exception: each one is built using Summit’s proprietary Green Build Advantage program and each features a lengthy list of impressive standard features.
“Summit Custom Homes is building in premier communities throughout the Kansas City area and we wanted to give a good representation of that through our Parade entries. The homes are spread out, so no matter where you are in the metro area you can see the Summit difference,” said Jodi Hermstedt, sales director for Summit Custom Homes.
Among Summit’s standard features are stucco and stone veneer front elevations; three-car garage; wide-plank hardwood flooring in all main-floor traffic areas; island kitchens with custom-made designer cabinetry; rubbed-copper wrought-iron stair spindles; spa master bathroom with tiled flooring and oversized tiled walk-in shower with dual shower heads; premium Delta plumbing fixtures; stainless steel GE kitchen appliances; and an industry-leading 10-year structural home warranty.
Summit’s focus is on building finely crafted, energy-efficient homes featuring innovative floor plans and unique decorative features, all at an exceptional value. Summit Custom Homes’ available Green Build Advantage program incorporates the latest building science to deliver significantly increased energy-efficiency rated at up to 30 percent more efficient than other newly built homes and 50 percent more efficient than a 10-year-old home.
Healthier indoor air quality is achieved by using formaldehyde-free insulation; low or no VOC (volatile organic compound) paints, glues and sealants where available; a passive radon remediation system; sealed air distribution duct work; and a high-particulate MERV-11 furnace filter. This all translates into lower utility bills and, most importantly, a more comfortable living environment.
