Since 1989, SAB Homes, Inc. has been building beautiful, distinctive, single-family and multi-family homes with long-lasting value throughout the Kansas City Metropolitan area. PRIDE—Professionalism, Reliability, Integrity, Distinction, and Excellence—is the benchmark behind every home they build.
As a full-scale design/build construction company, SAB Homes has more flexibility in home design and building style than typical homebuilders.
“Many builders simply tweak the same plans for years,” said Adrienne Morfeld, marketing and warranty manager. “The owner, Scott Bamesberger, is always working with the architect to create new plans. We try really hard to present homes that reflect the taste of buyers’ distinctive needs, lifestyle and desires. We also allow changes without overwhelming fees that break the budget.”
SAB Homes also has two designers on staff to help guide homebuyers through the process of choosing everything from their color schemes to lighting, plumbing fixtures, patterns and textiles, and other interior and exterior details.
Beautiful SAB built homes can be found in 16 communities in Missouri and Kansas. On this year’s Spring Parade of Homes, which runs through May 7, prospective buyers can tour 10 distinctive SAB Homes, seven of which were honored with American Dream Awards.
Among them is the Ashcliffe model home in the Monticello neighborhood in Lee’s Summit (Tour #52), a spectacular two-story, five-bedroom, four-bathroom, three-car garage home featuring a formal dining room, great room, open kitchen, breakfast nook and covered porch or deck. Priced at $442,950, this home is perfect for those looking for a two-story with flair, and a Silver Award winner for single-family homes priced between $439,000 and $455,000.
In the Creekmoor Villas community in Raymore, prospective buyers will find the Kendleton (Tour #20). This three-bedroom, two-bathroom maintenance-provided ranch plan home has an envy-worthy kitchen, well-appointed master suite with a walk-in tiled shower, double vanities and a large walk-in closet. The great room is wide open to the kitchen and dining room and features high ceilings and built-ins on each side of the fireplace. The home is priced at $342,200 and won a Silver Award for maintenance-provided homes priced between $310,000 and $350,000.
Buyers have the option of building it as a reverse 1-1/2-story floor with four bedrooms and three bathrooms priced at $398,625. This home can be toured in the Eagle Creek community in Lee’s Summit (Tour #23), where it won a Gold Award for single family homes priced between $395,000 and $420,000.
Just a stone’s throw away in Creekmoor, the Brookline Model (Tour #15) is a popular two-story, five-bedroom, four-bathroom home priced at $609,680, offering an open great room adjacent to the kitchen and dining room and plenty of flex space.
The optional lower level in the model features a recreation space, a wet bar, a half bathroom and a full bathroom. Buyers can opt to have the cigar/wine room and exercise room finished as additional bedrooms. Interior features include lots of farmhouse-style shiplap and distinctive ceiling treatments. This home was a Gold Award winner for single family homes priced between $595,000 and $620,00.
In Overland Park, the Chianti model in the Colton Lakes South (Tour #232) is a lovely five-bedroom, five-bathroom, two-story home. Incredible spaces indoors and out, such as the main floor den, rear covered deck with fireplace and open-air pergola make this home memorable. Quality finishes and thoughtful details abound in this home priced at $649,950, a Gold Award winner for single family homes priced between $645,000 and $690,000.
SAB Homes also won a Gold Award for single family homes priced between $280,000 and 315,000 for Tour #80 at Siena at Longview in Lee’s Summit, and a Silver Award for single family homes priced between $422,000 and $438,000 for Tour #111 at Woodland Trails in Greenwood.
According to Morfeld, these honors, in addition to dozens of others over the years in both the Spring and Fall Parades, in the latter including numerous Grand Award, First Runner-Up, First Place and Second Place Awards, is wonderful. However, it’s providing complete satisfaction to their clients that means the most.
“Our company would not have the reputation that it has today if we weren’t able to come through for our customers on every level,” she said. “That is why we place so much emphasis on delivering high quality and excellent customer service. One of our central goals is to provide our clients with an overall positive homebuilding experience.”
