There’s plenty of sun and fun left this summer, which means now is the perfect time to find your dream home in Cedar Creek.

Not only will you have ample selection in Cedar Creek’s architecturally diverse neighborhoods, you’ll also have access to an enviable amenities package that makes life in the community feel like “a daily vacation,” according to Cedar Creek homeowners. The best part? No travel required.

The master-planned community is strategically located in the heart of the growing Kansas 10 corridor. The thoughtful location puts homeowners within easy access of Johnson County and the surrounding Kansas City area without sacrificing the peaceful seclusion created by Cedar Creek’s lush, sprawling surroundings.

Thanks to a steady stream of interest in all that Cedar Creek has to offer, the renowned building team is hard at work on a number of speculative homes throughout the community. As a result, prospective homeowners have the luxury of choice when accommodating a specific move-in timeline.

Six model homes are under construction in Cedar Creek’s newest neighborhood, The Crossings at Southglen, and are scheduled to be complete in just over a month. Additionally, the second phase of home sites is now open for reservations, making this a prime time for prospective homeowners to secure their spot in this rapidly filling neighborhood. Prices range from $68,000 to $87,500 for daylight, walkout and flat home sites.

Located within a short walk of Cedar Creek Elementary School, The Crossings at Southglen is an ideal choice for families eager to experience all that Cedar Creek has to offer. Homes are priced from $390,000 to $500,000 and five of Cedar Creek’s renowned builders have a number of new spec homes underway.

A sampling of what you’ll find in The Crossings at Southglen includes a four-bedroom Wakefield plan from Rodrock Homes that includes an open kitchen, breakfast, great room and formal dining room and is priced at $399,500.

The reverse 11/2-story features an open concept on the first floor, covered porch with fireplace and a lower-level wet bar.

Prospective homeowners can also opt to work directly with one of Cedar Creek’s builders to create a custom-built residence. Thanks to a wide array of floor plans and home sites, buyers will have the tools they need to make their dream homes a reality.

Although the quality-built homes are undoubtedly the center of attention at Cedar Creek, the community’s impressive array of amenities is a close second. The amenities package includes swimming pools, tennis courts, a lake, a golf course, a fully equipped community center and more, all of which help homeowners feel like they’re on a permanent vacation.

In addition, Cedar Creek hosts a variety of annual and ongoing events, including a community-wide garage sale and holiday-specific festivities. Other events include a ladies lunch bunch, walking group, yoga and a men’s lunch group, all of which contribute to a heightened sense of community and companionship within Cedar Creek.

The community is tucked away in more than 3,000 acres of rolling terrain, yet the prime Olathe location puts homeowners in the heart of Johnson County and near easy highway access to travel throughout the Kansas City area and to Lawrence.
