As the Fall Parade of Homes continues through its final day, there’s still time to see several Cedar Creek Parade entries that exemplify the sophisticated residential architecture and exemplary craftsmanship of several of the community’s builders. Parade listings include:
In the Woods of Southglen at 11675 S. Gleason Rd., Roeser Homes features a four-bedroom, three-bathroom reverse 1½-story Magnolia floor plan with a generous 3,415 square feet of living space.
One of Cedar Creek’s newer neighborhoods, The Crossings at Southglen, includes several Parade listings. At 24297 W. 111th Place, Extraordinary Homes features a three-bedroom, two-bathroom ranch floor plan with a large open concept living/kitchen/dining room, a courtyard entry and a sizable patio that extends the home’s living space outside.
At 24676 W. 112th Terrace, Summit Custom Homes showcases a four-bedroom, three-bathroom Meadowbrook floor plan, a reverse 1½-story layout with 2,854 square feet of living space that was recognized by the Home Builders Association of Greater Kansas City with a Grand Award in the Pick of the Parade category. Two additional listings – an Irving floor plan from Rodrock Homes and an Emery Reverse from James Engle Custom Homes – have been sold and will not be open to tour.
Never miss a local story.
Once you experience the resort-style surroundings of Cedar Creek, it’s impossible to imagine yourself anywhere else. The good news? A number of homes are available for an immediate move-in, giving you ample time to enjoy the colorful explosion of fall foliage that will soon transform the community.
In the Crossings at Southglen, a popular choice for families given the close proximity to Cedar Creek Elementary School, several homes are available for immediate occupancy. Summit Custom Homes’ Parade listing is one of them, priced at $438,950. Additionally, Roeser Homes has a four-bedroom, three-bathroom Azalea floor plan located at 24140 W. 111th Place and priced at $467,996. A two-story Bristol Ridge floor plan from Summit Custom Homes is available at 24204 W. 111th Place for $449,093.
In the Woods of Southglen, Roeser Homes’ Parade listing is also available for immediate occupancy, priced at $598,066. Several builders also have speculative homes underway throughout Cedar Creek, ideal options for prospective buyers not quite ready for an immediate move-in.
In The Villas of Shadow Glen, Tim Hoelting Homes offers a reverse 1½-story Seville plan located at 26560 W. 110th Terrace and priced at $469,950. The plan features four bedrooms, 3½ bathrooms, and an open great room, kitchen and dining room.
If you find yourself brimming with post-Parade inspiration and want to bring your dream home to life, several prime homesites await, the ideal backdrop to your favorite floor plan. In Cedar Creek’s newest neighborhood, The Ridge at Shadow Glen, the community’s final array of golf course homesites are available. The selection of 42 homesites, a mix of walkout, daylight and flat homesites, are now available for reservation, with prices ranging from the upper $70,000s to the lower $200,000s. Prospective homeowners are encouraged to reach out to the Cedar Creek sales team quickly, as these homesites are expected to be popular.
Now that fall is here, it’s also an ideal time to consider another of Cedar Creek’s newer neighborhoods, Hidden Lake Estates. Forty secluded homesites, some of which are more than one acre, offer scenic wooded views along winding cul-de-sac streets that will be especially gorgeous during the height of fall foliage. Several Cedar Creek builders have speculative homes underway in Hidden Lake Estates, and a handful of homesites are available for prospective buyers who would prefer to create a custom-built home. Additional homesites will be available next spring. Prices in the neighborhood range from the upper $600,000s to more than $1 million.
As if prospective homeowners didn’t already have the luxury of choice when buying within Cedar Creek, a soon-to-open new neighborhood will offer even more options. Valley Ridge will open later this year with 58 spectacular homesites in walkout, daylight and flat locations. Naturally rolling, semi-wooded terrain offers soothing views, while an enviable location in the community offers close proximity to Cedar Creek Elementary School, a city park and a neighborhood pool. Homes in Valley Ridge will range from the mid-$400,000s to over $600,000.
While you explore Cedar Creek’s neighborhoods, you’ll also have a chance to see the community’s extensive, resort-style amenities package, the perfect antidote to hectic school and work schedules. Spend a few hours in one of two swimming pools, enjoy a sunset stroll around the 65-acre Shadow Lake or gather friends and family for a round at the award-winning, 18-hole Shadow Glen Golf Club. Homeowners also have access to a free-form swimming pool, four lighted tennis courts, a second swimming pool in the Southglen neighborhood, jogging and walking trails, the Swim & Racquet Club and an indoor gymnasium that’s equipped for basketball, volleyball, aerobics and a performance stage.
Cedar Creek is served by the Olathe School District, including Olathe Northwest High School, Mission Trail Junior High School, and Cedar Creek Elementary School. The community is also within close proximity to St. James Academy Catholic High School.
