It's a party – A Halloween celebrity lookalike party

Now is the time to get that Halloween costume ready. Not for the kids. For you.

Undecided about your get-up? Then join FYI in making this Halloween the year of the celebrity look-alike. And get your picture on the cover of FYI.

First, figure out which celebrity looks like you. Try the Web sites at myheritage.com or findmycelebritylookalike.com. Then costume yourself accordingly. Send your photo to the Star's features department at fyi@kcstar.com or to FYI's Celebween, 1729 Grand Blvd., Kansas City, Mo., 64108 by Oct. 12. Tell us your name and your celebrity and provide a daytime telephone number.

We'll pick the best look-alikes and take a giant group photo for an FYI feature story. Imagine the likes of Oprah Winfrey, Britney Spears, Madonna, Dr. Phil, Sarah Jessica Parker, Brad Pitt, Reba McIntire, Arnold Schwarzenegger, Dick Cheney and Angelina Jolie all in one room. And don't forget local celebrities. Mayor Funkhouser? Damon Huard?

We won't be that impressed if you dress up like a fey pirate and call yourself Johnny Depp. The more you look like the real thing, the better. So make us do a double-take. And we'll make you a star, for a day.
