Laura Berman, James Brinsfield have two striking shows at Haw Contemporary

In “Laura Berman: Pulsar” and “James Brinsfield: Self-Titled,” which continue through May 24 at Haw Contemporary, Berman makes unique relief prints by applying translucent oil-based inks in a variety of vivid colors to cutout plates. Brinsfield’s works are some of the best of his career.
