Erin Little is going big time — at least for a couple of days.
Little, weekday morning meteorologist on KMBC, Channel 9, will be guest weather anchor this weekend on “Good Morning America’s” national broadcasts.
KMBC carries the “GMA” weekend edition from 6 to 7 a.m. Saturday and Sunday. The program has been using guest weatherpeople since Ginger Zee replaced Sam Champion on the weekday “GMA.”
“I grew up in Kansas City, and now I’m raising my own family here,” Little said in a statement. “I can’t wait to represent this great city.”
Sunday, of course, is Mother’s Day. Little, mom of two young girls, will start the day in New York but be back in Kansas City that afternoon.
