Will it be Quality Hill or Strawberry Hill? Waldo or West Side? What’s Kansas City’s favorite neighborhood?
Cast your votes by filling out our March Madness-style bracket, which features 32 neighborhoods from both sides of state line.
To make this as fair as reasonably possible, we asked a panel of Ink staff and Advisory Board members to determine the 32 neighborhoods included and their seeding. Nearly 70 KC neighborhoods were ranked on a 1-5 scale, with 1 meaning “There’s not enough happening in this neighborhood” and 5 meaning “This neighborhood is LIT.” This means many neighborhoods didn’t make the cut.
Note: This is all in good fun and a chance for people to show some support for the neighborhoods they love. The emphasis is “favorite” neighborhood, NOT “best” neighborhood. So consider things like restaurant/bar scene, shopping, location, friendliness, potential and general coolness.
Never miss a local story.
