About half a dozen songs into a show that would approach two and a half hours, the Foo Fighters covered a Who song: “Young Man Blues.” It’s a song they performed at a recent Who tribute show. But it was appropriate for other reasons. If any band can call itself this generation’s version of that larger-than-life band, let it be the Foos, whose shows are huge and furious and whose music is beefy enough to fill an old-school hockey barn like Kemper Arena.

Storm still performs, and as she strutted her stuff at the Burlesque Hall of Fame’s annual weekend, the audience watched her with respect, amazement and awe.
