“Batman Forever” star Val Kilmer is reportedly recovering from emergency throat surgery, according to a report Friday from TMZ.
Sources said that Kilmer, 55, was “bleeding from his mouth” when paramedics responded to a 911 call made from Kilmer’s Malibu home on Monday night.
The Santa Monica Fire Department told People magazine that it received the call at 11:31 p.m. on Monday. The actor was taken to UCLA Medical Center in Santa Monica.
Some reports suggest that Kilmer has been suffering from a throat tumor, with some publications suggesting that’s why he has appeared in public lately with his throat covered up.
