Do you love wholesale deals as much as you love your significant other?
A Minnesota couple certainly does, if their photoshoot at a Costco in St. Louis Park, Minn., is anything to go by.
“I thought it would be pretty funny to take the romantic poses and put them into something very mundane like grocery shopping,” Karinne Tarshish told the Star Tribune Wednesday.
Tarshish posted the photos to subreddit wikiWHAT last week under the subject “We got our engagement photos taken at Costco.
Users of the site quickly jumped on the topic.
“Is there some sentimental reason for doing this...?” Earguy asked.
Tarshish: “Not really, we just both really like Costco. I didn’t like the idea of having the regular engagement pics (or really any, but our photographer offered to do it for free). I thought it would be funny to have pictures of us doing really mundane things, and then decided it would be better to romanticize those mundane things.”
There goes our inspiration for a ground-breaking love story.
Regardless of whether or not Tarshish met fiance Dan Klamet at the members-only no-frills retail warehouse, you’ve got to admit the photos are tearjerkers.
We live in a day in age where people take their engagement photos at Costco......what am I supposed to do with that?
