As official royal portraits go, Prince George’s new one is Facebook-friendly. And we like it, even though some in the British media are put off by the informal look.
Boy George celebrates his 1st birthday on Tuesday and his parents, the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge, have released official photos of their adorable future king.
Look who’s (sort of) walking!
Press Association staff photographer John Stillwell took the picture on July 2 when the family visited the “Sensational Butterflies” exhibit at London’s Natural History Museum, where Kate is a patron.
“He was very lively, very confident and very sure of himself,” Stillwell tells Us magazine. “He's a very determined young boy. And who does he look like? I’d have to say his dad, William.”
George will have his own party on Tuesday at Kensington Palace, reportedly an indoor tea party. (We would have thought ponies would have been involved.) His great-grandma, Queen Elizabeth II, is expected to attend.
