First comes “The Bachelor,” then comes marriage.
At least, that’s the way it worked for KC native Tanner Tolbert and his bride, Jade Roper.
The nuptials of Tolbert and Roper, who met on “Bachelor” spinoff “Bachelor in Paradise” last summer, were shown Sunday on an ABC “Bachelor” special.
And it just so happened to be Valentine’s Day.

The couple got married at the St. Regis Resort Monarch Beach in Dana Point, California, in a wedding straight out of a flower-filled fairy tale.
“Bachelor” host Chris Harrison officiated the ceremony, and the reception featured songs performed by Matt Nathanson and Seal.
Roper wore a dress designed by Galia Lahav, which was “hand made in Israel,” while Tolbert wore a classic black and white tux with a bow tie by Madison James.
Roper’s bridesmaids were sparkling in gold and blush-toned dresses with white bouquets.
And of course, it wouldn’t be a “Bachelor” wedding without the whole gang in attendance.
There was Sean and Catherine Lowe, who are expecting their first child, along with show veterans Trista and Ryan Sutter, farmer Chris Soules and last season’s “Bachelorette” Kaitlyn Bristowe with fiance Shawn Booth. Phew.

Aside from the event being “the biggest” reunion in “Bachelor” history, Jade and Tanner were still focused on what mattered most: saying “I do.”
