The rumors were true and now congratulations are in order for Cameron Diaz and Good Charlotte rocker Benji Madden, who got married Monday at their Los Angeles home.
Her rep described the affair as an “intimate ceremony” in a statement to People magazine.
“We couldn't be happier to begin our new journey together surrounded by our closest family and friends,” the couple said in a statement.
Said a source: “Cameron has found true happiness.”
Rumors of a wedding began circulating after the two hosted what was said to be a rehearsal dinner in Beverly Hills on Sunday night. In attendance – Drew Barrymore and Benji’s twin brother Joel Madden and Joel’s wife, Nicole Richie.
Richie introduced the newlyweds to each other seven months ago.
Diaz, 42, also reportedly celebrated with a bachelorette party over the weekend.
Several entertainment outlets reported that party rental trucks and loads of white flowers began arriving Monday morning to the gated Beverly Hills community where Diaz and Madden, 35, live.
The guest list of 90-some reportedly included Reese Witherspoon and Gwyneth Paltrow.
