Cats rule! How do we know? A viral video from Friskies, the cat food folks, has generated more than 7.5 million views on YouTube since debuting on Thursday.
Friskies teamed up with Buzzfeed for the ad, getting Buzzfeed executive vice president Ze Frank – known as the Morgan Freeman of the Internet – to narrate.
The “narrator” is an older cat who is welcoming the new kitten to the house with words of wisdom about things like sleeping in the underwear drawer, the food so special that it comes in “little armored metal casings” and that hungry monster known as the “vac-oom.”
Yes, it’s an ad. But who cares? Enjoy.
