The World Cup music video battle: Shakira vs. Pitbull and Jennifer Lopez

It’s the battle of the best, most viral and most hip-shaking 2014 World Cup music videos — and it looks like Shakira is beating out Pitbull and Jennifer Lopez.

Last week, Shakira released “La La La (Brazil 2014) ft. Carlinhos Brown,” a Brazilian musician. The 2014 Fifa World Cup, of course, is happening in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil. It begins June 12.

In 7 days, the video (“La La La” is on Shakira’s new self-titled album) has racked up more than 43 million views.

Some of the eyeball fuel is probably coming from Shakira’s partnership with Activia to support the United Nations’ World Food Programme and its School Meals initiative. By donating $5 to the organization, Shakira will send an “exclusive thank you,” the site says; sharing the video itself also helps.

Meanwhile, on May 16, Pitbull posted the music video for the official 2014 World Cup song, “We Are One (Ole Ola).” It features Jennifer Lopez and Claudia Leitte, a Brazilian pop singer.

The video is nearing 41 million views.

Both videos have hot men and women dancing, nods to soccer, plenty of drums and waving Brazilian flags. Shakira even shows off some of her soccer moves.

Which do you like best?
