Welcome to the world little Otis Sudeikis. My, what an overachiever you are!
Jason Sudeikis and Olivia Wilde announced the birth of their first child on Wednesday. Baby Otis surprised his family by arriving on Easter Sunday night, nearly two weeks ahead of his due date. (We bet he will always be his family's little Easter bunny.)
Mama posted a black-and-white snapshot of the two of them on Twitter.
“Ladies and gentlemen, Otis Alexander Sudeikis has LEFT the building! (I'm the building),” she wrote.
The couple had expected the baby on May 4 and had jokingly reminded themselves of the due date with the phrase, “May the 4th be with you.”
Stargazing thinks that some Jayhawk baby gear is in order.
Jason, who grew up in Overland Park, is a huge KU fan. He and Olivia have been to KU basketball games and Jason, who used to wear KU stuff when he was on “Saturday Night Live,” often wears a KC hat on the streets of New York.
The two, who are engaged, were spotted strolling around Manhattan on Saturday.
No word on how much little Otis weighed. But to hear Olivia tell it, he won’t be the last little Sudeikis to be born.
“I'm open-minded about how many, but three, which I love, is like a little party,” she told Marie Claire magazine.
And what a fun party we hope it will be.
