People magazine is reading the tea leaves today and speculating that Kansas City’s Nikki Ferrell has split up with her “Bachelor” beau, Juan Pablo Galavis.
While some of were busy watching the World Series, the eagle eyes at People were noticing on Sunday that Ferrell unfollowed Galavis on Twitter and Instagram.
That’s the social media equivalent of throwing the ring in his face. But wait, she never got a ring, did she?
Galavis also posted an Instagram photo of himself with rumored new girlfriend Laura Gomez in San Francisco over the weekend.
Never miss a local story.
Anyone out there see them at the World Series by any chance?
Ferrell also posted this cryptic message on her Instagram page Sunday night: “Isn't it pathetic how we waste so much time on certain people and in the end they prove that they weren't even worth a second of it.”
She added the caption: “Nope not one single second.”
Of course, Ferrell’s followers instantly responded.
“THEY BROKE UP.”
“It’s about (darn) time.”
“KC loves you!”
“We called this one.”
Keep in mind that the couple can be seen duking things out on the current season of VH1’s “Couples Therapy” — he’s still struggling with saying “I love you” – so the timing of all this seems rather suspect.
The two have been a couple since March when Galavis chose the Children’s Mercy nurse on the finale of ABC’s dating show, “The Bachelor.” He gave her the final rose but, now famously, did not offer a marriage proposal.
Because of that and other antics that we don’t have time to rehash, Galavis came to be considered one of the most hated bachelors in the show’s history.
People mag points out that after a recent episode of “Couples Therapy” Ferrell stopped tweeting because people were so angry with her for staying in the relationship.
Hmmm. Someone is getting played in all of this.
We just hope it’s not us.
