Just don’t call him Larry. Or Gary.
Jim O’Heir, who played Jerry in NBC’s excellent “Parks and Recreation,” is stepping in to New Theatre’s upcoming production of “You Can’t Take It With You.”
O’Heir is replacing William Christopher, best known as Father Mulcahy on “M*A*S*H,” who has dropped out of the show.
O’Heir hails from Chicago, where he was an improv actors and part of the theater troupe “White Noise.” Subsequently, he has performed extensively in film and television, appearing as guest star on such shows as “Friends,” “ER,” “Malcolm in the Middle” and “3rd Rock From the Sun.”
