Zac Efron’s washboard abs could hit the beach next spring in Paramount’s big-screen version of “Baywatch.”
The actor is in talks to suit up opposite Dwayne Johnson in the movie based on the popular 1990s TV show about California lifeguards.
BIG NEWS: Welcoming my dude @ZacEfron to #BAYWATCH. Our movie will be big, fun and RATED R.. Like me when I drink. https://t.co/8DPMJSEG9K

We’ll take his word for it.
The film, which is likely to begin production in February 2016, centers around two lifeguards saving the beach from an evil oil tycoon.
Johnson, who also has a producer nod on the movie, is set to play the no-nonsense veteran lifeguard alongside Efron’s more rebellious character.
At least it’s not a musical. One is enough for Efron.
