Angelina, Halle, Zac, George. They all made People magazine's annual "Most Beautiful" list of 100 famous faces this year.
So did First LadyMichelle Obama
ButChristina Applegate, a breast cancer survivor, is the cover girl of this year's issue, which hits newsstands on Friday. (Look for Cindy Crawford
posing without makeup. Cool.)
Honored for battling cancer with style and grace, the 37-year-old star of ABC's "Samantha Who" spills the beans on the new love in her life, Dutch musicianMartyn Lenoble
, who Applegate calls her "perfect type."
Applegate had a double mastectomy last July and reconstructive surgery months later.
She calls Lenoble her "rock."
"He's been a friend for about 13 years," Applegate tells People. "Our relationship gets stronger and stronger. I'm really lucky."
Applegate adds that overcoming cancer gave her a "feeling of purpose," and that at 37, she finally feels comfortable in her own skin.
"I used to be really shy but I started to come into my own in my late 20s and early 30s," she tells the magazine. "Now, I'm not afraid to speak up in a room full of people and be a part of the conversation."
