When Tiger Woods hits the practice range at any major tournament, fans and photographers huddle in droves to watch.
(Stargazing knows this first-hand because we hung on his every practice swing at the U.S. Open a few years ago.)
But on Tuesday afternoon, Tiger’s two young children – Sam and Charlie – upstaged their famous papa by bringing their sweet faces to the Masters in Augusta, Ga.
Tiger’s girlfriend, skier Lindsey Vonn, led Tiger’s son and daughter hand-in-hand to the course. Fawning sports writers dubbed it the most adorable moment of the week.
SBNation.com and The Golf Channel reported that Tiger will also play the family-friendly annual Masters Par-3 contest with his kids on Wednesday.
“My two littles are going to be out there with me,” he said at a press conference, confirming that his children will be his caddies for that event. “It’s special.”
Players often have their children and spouses with them during the laid-back, party-like, nine-hole contest on the eve of the Masters.
According to Golf.com, Tiger hasn’t played the Par-3 contest since 2004, calling it “distracting” to his preparation.
He’d reportedly said he would play again once his kids were old enough to caddie. Daughter Sam is 7, Charlie is 6.
Can’t wait to see those photos.
