Is it just us? We truly did not realize how much running Tom Cruise has done in all his movies.
A new, 18-minute mashup said to capture every single time Cruise ran on the big screen was posted recently to the Burger Fiction YouTube channel.
“Not speed walking. Not jogging. RUNNING,” the video’s description says.
And Cruise, who is a young 54, has been running ever since “Taps” in 1981.
He’s run after girls, bad guys and Dustin Hoffman in “Rain Man.” He’s run from exploding buildings, through flocks of pigeons and hails of bullets.
He’s run on beaches, through airports and train stations and hospitals and up and down countless stairs. He’s run while carrying guns, swords, briefcases, footballs.
He’s late to class, leading a samurai battle, fleeing aliens.
Run, Tom, run!
And how the heck did he keep his footing running all over the place in dress shoes?
Give us a minute. We need oxygen.
Cruise’s next film, “Jack Reacher: Never Go Back,” opens Thursday.
We hear he doesn’t do much sitting.
