Jack White has performed in Kansas City as a member of three bands: the White Stripes, the Raconteurs and the Dead Weather.
On Aug. 18, a Monday, White, an eight-time Grammy winner, will return to Kansas City to perform at the Midland theater as a solo artist.
He will be showcasing “Lazaretto,” his second solo album, which was released today. It’s the followup to 2012’s “Blunderbuss,” which was nominated for four Grammys, including album of the year.
Tickets go on sale at 10 a.m. Friday at the Midland box office, 1228 Main St., and at Axs.com. Price: $55.
