Country mega-star Carrie Underwood will tour North America in 2016, and Kansas City will be one of the 40 stops on the tour.
Underwood, who will be touring on her brand-new “Storyteller” album, will perform at the Sprint Center on May 15, a Sunday. Tickets go on sale at 10 a.m. Nov. 6 through sprintcenter.com and at the arena’s box office.. The tour also stops in St. Louis on March 24 and Lincoln, Neb., on March 26.
The Storyteller Tour will be Underwood’s first-ever concert in the round. Easton Corbin and the Swon Brothers will be openers. Underwood’s previous Kansas City show was May 1, 2013, at the Sprint Center. Her previous Sprint Center appearances were as a headliner in October 2010 and opening for Keith Urban in March 2008.
