The Sprint Center is no longer big enough to host One Direction when it comes to Kansas City.
On July 28, the five-man English-Irish boy band will headline a show at Arrowhead Stadium. Tickets will go on sale at 10 a.m. Nov. 1, a Saturday. Tickets will be available at Ticketmaster.com, LiveNation.com, at the Arrowhead Stadium box office or by calling (800) 745-3000. Prices: $39.50 to $99.50.
Fans can buy pre-sale tickets via the One Direction Facebook page on Oct. 29.
One Direction launched a North American stadium tour in August. It stopped in 31 cities, including St. Louis on Aug. 27. In several cities, like Boston and Chicago, it added one or two shows. The tour wrapped up early this month.
Arrowhead Stadium has hosted several concerts over the past few years, all country shows. Kenny Chesney performed at Arrowhead three years in a row from 2011-13. Taylor Swift performed there in 2011.
