CREEPFEST
Halloween brings KC CreepFest, a new festival of locally produced horror shorts.
An independent panel is judging the films — all five minutes or less and shot in Kansas or Missouri — on originality, production, post production, audio and fear factor.
In addition, the festival will include established classics (“Night of the Living Dead,” “Carnival of Souls”) and homegrown features (“Last Breath,” “Bonnie & Clyde Vs. Dracula”).
The festival runs Thursday and Oct. 30 at the Tivoli and the Westport Coffeehouse. Get the schedule and other details at www.kccreepfest.com.
