Winners of the 2009 Charlotte Street Foundation Visual Artist Awards show off their recent accomplishments Friday, in an exhibit opening with a reception from 6 to 8 p.m. at the Kansas City Art Institute’s Block Artspace, 16 E. 43rd St.

Odds are it will be a strong show, given the distinguished track records of painter Andrzej Zielinski, performance artist and photographer Jaimie Warren, and sculptor and installation artist Dylan Mortimer.
