Hero pilot will visit KC to promote new book

Rainy Day Books will host hero pilot Capt. Chesley “Sully” Sullenberger for two events Wednesday.

At 11:30 a.m., a forum at the Muehlebach Tower of the Kansas City Marriott Downtown will include an autographed copy of Sullenberger’s new book, “Highest Duty,” plus lunch and parking. The cost is $48. Call 913-744-3659 to make reservations.

Sullenberger successfully landed US Airways Flight 1549 in the Hudson River on Jan. 15, saving 155 lives.
