Despite life’s ups and downs, Sherry Leedy anchors the Crossroads

Kansas City art galleries have seen a lot of changes over the last 20 years. While many dealers have come and gone, Sherry Leedy, who in 1985 opened shop with then-husband Jim Leedy, has stayed in the game. She’s the first lady of the Crossroads, and with no plans to retire she might eventually emerge as Kansas City’s longest-running art dealer.
