Robert Trussell | KC Repertory Theatre’s ‘Irma Vep’ is a serious piece of silliness

Charles Ludlam’s 1984 play “The Mystery of Irma Vep” is a two-actor, eight-character piece requiring each performer to play multiple roles of both genders. And it requires lightning-quick costume changes to maintain its momentum. More so than most comedies, this show is all about timing.
