Timothy Finn | J.D. Souther gives patient crowd a swift tour of a hit-studded career

Saturday night at Knuckleheads, J.D. Souther gave the audience of more than 150 people an 80-minute tour of his songwriting resume, though not necessarily the songs for which he is best known, but the show was delayed 75 minutes because Souther and his accompanist, Chris Walters, told management that the piano wasn’t tuned to their liking.
