On the off chance that you haven’t received a personal invite to the royal wedding, the next best thing might be available right here in Kansas City.
Of course, you’ll have to get out of bed bright and early to enjoy it.
Union Station will throw a royal wedding watch party beginning at 3:30 a.m. Saturday at the Regnier Extreme Screen Theatre. You can see Prince Harry and Meghan Markle get hitched on the largest screen in the Midwest.
Before the 6 a.m. ceremony, offerings will include an English breakfast featuring Windsor waffle stacks, High Street bangers and scones as well as a champagne toast.
Tickets ($25) are available at unionstation.org/events/royal-wedding-watch-party.
If you aren’t interested in all the bells and whistles but want to witness the big event with fellow royal watchers, you have at least two options.
The Kansas City Public Library-Plaza Branch will provide a big screen for a free watch party from 5:30 to 7:30 a.m. Register at kclibrary.org/library-locations/plaza-branch/adults-event/royal-wedding-watch-party.
